Both Uruguayan Diego Forlan and Dutchman Johnny Heitinga are out of Atlético Madrid’s upcoming clash with Real Valladolid.
Forlan’s flight back from South America experienced a delay and the former Villarreal player did not return back in time to make the trip to Valladolid.
Heitinga meanwhile, suffered a knee injury during Holland’s match with FYR Macedonia on Wednesday. He did finish that game, but only because there were no more substitutions left to use.
In form Argentinian Sergio Aguero did return in time from his national side, and should form part of Atleti’s team for their second Primera Division clash of the season.
